Race Summary & Analysis (2026)

Max Verstappen delivered a masterful performance for Red Bull to claim victory at the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix. Crossing the line after 62 laps, Verstappen maintained a comfortable margin over his closest challenger, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, who finished 7.335 seconds adrift to secure second place. The final podium position was earned by Mercedes rookie Andrea Kimi Antonelli, who drove a solid race to finish third, 24.573 seconds behind the race winner and capping a strong result for the team.

Behind the leaders, McLaren locked out the fourth and fifth positions, with Lando Norris finishing ahead of teammate Oscar Piastri for a significant points haul. Lewis Hamilton brought his Ferrari home in sixth place. The remaining points-paying positions were filled by Liam Lawson for Racing Bulls in seventh, followed by Audi’s Nico Hülkenberg in eighth. George Russell claimed two points for Mercedes in ninth, while Red Bull’s Isack Hadjar secured the final point in tenth position.

Three drivers were classified despite failing to see the chequered flag. Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll was the highest-placed retirement, classified 20th after completing 36 laps. Franco Colapinto’s race for the Alpine F1 Team ended after 29 laps. The earliest retirement among the classified runners was Audi’s Gabriel Bortoleto, whose Grand Prix concluded after only 7 laps had been completed.
