Race Summary & Analysis (2025)

Max Verstappen secured a commanding victory at the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix for Red Bull, finishing the 50-lap race with a time of 1:21:08.429. His dominant performance resulted in a significant 23.546-second margin over the rest of the field. Mercedes executed a strong team strategy to claim a double podium, with George Russell securing a comfortable second place. He was followed by teammate Andrea Kimi Antonelli, who finished third, 30.488 seconds behind the race winner, to cap off a successful outing for the Brackley-based team.

The battle for the final podium position was decided by the narrowest of margins, as Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc finished fourth, just 0.190 seconds behind Antonelli. Carlos Sainz brought his Williams home in fifth place, earning 10 points. Isack Hadjar scored a solid sixth for Racing Bulls, ahead of Nico Hülkenberg in seventh for Stake F1. Lewis Hamilton finished eighth in his Ferrari, while the Haas F1 Team celebrated a double-points finish, with Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman securing ninth and tenth places, respectively.

The race saw multiple retirements, beginning with Aston Martin’s Lance Stroll, who failed to complete a single lap. Gabriel Bortoleto of Stake F1 was the next casualty, retiring after just two laps, while Williams’ Alexander Albon’s race ended after 35 laps. In a dramatic post-race decision, both McLaren drivers, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, were disqualified from the final classification despite completing the full race distance. Liam Lawson and Franco Colapinto were the final classified finishers, both ending the race one lap down.
