Lando Norris secured a commanding victory for McLaren at the 2025 Mexican Grand Prix, finishing the 71-lap race with a dominant margin of 30.324 seconds. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc claimed second place, successfully holding off Red Bull’s Max Verstappen in a tight battle for the remaining podium positions. Verstappen crossed the line just 0.725 seconds behind Leclerc to secure third, completing a podium where the top three all finished on the lead lap.

Behind the leaders, Oliver Bearman delivered a standout performance for the Haas F1 Team to claim fourth position and 12 points. McLaren’s Oscar Piastri finished fifth, securing a strong double-points finish for the Woking-based team. Mercedes followed with Andrea Kimi Antonelli in sixth and George Russell in seventh. The final points were awarded to Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari) in eighth, Esteban Ocon (Haas F1 Team) in ninth, and Gabriel Bortoleto, who took the final point for Stake F1 in tenth place.

Four drivers failed to finish the race. The first retirement was Liam Lawson of Racing Bulls, whose event ended after only 5 laps. Stake F1’s Nico Hülkenberg retired on lap 25, followed by Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso after completing 34 laps. A late-race DNF saw Williams driver Carlos Sainz pull out of the event after completing 67 laps, just four laps shy of the chequered flag.
