Jim Clark remains the Dutch Grand Prix’s most successful competitor, securing four victories for Lotus between 1963 and 1967. A distinguished group follows with three wins each: Jackie Stewart, who dominated the late 1960s with Matra-Ford; Niki Lauda, whose wins span from 1974 to 1985; and Max Verstappen, who delivered a home-turf hat-trick for Red Bull from 2021 to 2023. Other multiple winners include Alberto Ascari, Alain Prost, and Lando Norris.
With eight triumphs, Ferrari is the event’s most decorated constructor, winning with drivers from Ascari to Arnoux. The Scuderia is pursued by two British outfits, Team Lotus and McLaren, who are tied on six victories apiece. While Lotus’s success largely defined the 1960s and 70s, McLaren’s wins are spread from James Hunt in 1976 through to the team’s strong resurgence in the mid-2020s, which included three straight victories.
The event’s roll of honour charts distinct competitive periods. Early victories for Italian marques gave way to an era of British team dominance before a diverse grid contested the race until its 1985 suspension. Upon its return in 2021, the Grand Prix was immediately monopolised by Red Bull and Max Verstappen. This phase was decisively ended by McLaren, who secured consecutive victories from 2024 with Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, culminating in Norris’s 2026 triumph.
