Victoria Verstappen, sister of four-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen, married Tom Heuts last Saturday in Maastricht, Netherlands. The ceremony took place at the Château Neercanne estate.
Max Verstappen attended the wedding alongside his girlfriend Kelly Piquet. Other family members present included their father Jos Verstappen and mother Sophie Kumpen.
Victoria, 26, shared images from the event on social media, initially captioning a post with ‘Just married the love of my life’. She later added that the experience ‘still feels like a dream’.
Her father, Jos Verstappen, expressed his emotion during the day, being seen wiping away tears. He posted on Instagram, stating, ‘Forever proud to be your dad. Wishing you a life filled with love, joy and happiness with your husband Tom!’
Sophie Kumpen also shared multiple posts, referring to Victoria as ‘the most beautiful BRIDE’ and the couple as ‘the most beautiful COUPLE’.
Victoria and Tom Heuts have three children: Luka, 5, Lio, 4, and Hailey, 1. The couple became engaged in April 2025 at the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Max Verstappen, 28, lent his private jet for Victoria’s bachelorette party in Saint-Tropez several weeks prior to the wedding.
Following the family event, Max Verstappen is currently at Spa-Francorchamps for the Belgian Grand Prix weekend. On Friday, he topped Free Practice 1 with a lap time of 1:47.070.
He finished third in Free Practice 2, where Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli set the fastest time. Verstappen reported issues with gear shifts during the session, describing them as ‘unbelievable’.
Red Bull is utilising an older specification rear wing on Verstappen’s RB22 for this event. This decision follows issues with an updated component that led to crashes in Austria and Great Britain.
Red Bull Technical Director Pierre Wache confirmed the team is working to resolve the rear wing issues to reintroduce the performance-benefiting component.
Verstappen, a four-time world champion, is contracted to Red Bull until at least the end of the 2028 season. He currently sits seventh in the drivers’ standings after nine rounds of the 2026 season.
