Haas Formula 1 driver Oliver Bearman has revealed a new business venture outside of his racing commitments. The 21-year-old Briton, currently in his second full season with Haas, has opened a bike shop and cafe above Monaco. This initiative marks a significant expansion of his interests beyond the Grand Prix paddock.
The new establishment, named ‘Triple Crown,’ is situated in La Turbie, a location in the hills directly above the principality of Monaco. This area is well-known as a popular destination for cyclists. Bearman co-founded the venture with a group of friends.
Triple Crown is designed as a clubhouse concept, integrating elements of cycling, motorsport, hospitality, and performance culture. It aims to serve as a community hub for individuals who share a passion for sport and excellence.
Bearman explained that cycling has become an increasingly important part of his life, particularly in his training regimen for the 2026 F1 campaign. He described the bike shop and cafe as a ‘passion project’ for all involved, stemming from a shared enjoyment of cycling.
The cafe component of Triple Crown functions as a pitstop for cyclists undertaking long mountain rides. It offers a selection of quality coffee and homemade cakes, including their own banana bread. Bearman noted the importance of good coffee to cyclists.
Among the partners in the Triple Crown project are Le Mans 24 Hours winner Antonio Giovinazzi, professional Italian cyclists Matteo Trentin and Giulio Ciccone, former alpine skier and business leader Claudia Morandini, and entrepreneur Elena Giovannelli.
Bearman frequently cycles the local mountain roads around Monaco. He often trains alongside Williams F1 driver Carlos Sainz and five-time Tour de France winner Tadej Pogačar, highlighting the high-calibre cycling community in the region.
His 2026 Formula 1 season has seen a mixed performance. Bearman secured 17 points across the opening two rounds in Australia and China, adding another point at the Canadian Grand Prix. However, he has recorded retirements in Japan, Monaco, and Spain.
Bearman has also experienced a series of finishes outside the top ten in the last four rounds of the current season. He presently holds 13th position in the drivers’ standings with a total of 18 points.
A member of the Ferrari Driver Academy since 2022, Bearman was loaned to Haas by the Italian outfit until the conclusion of the 2026 season. His long-term ambition remains to secure a seat with Ferrari.
