Red Bull Racing has unveiled special race overalls for Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar ahead of the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix at Circuit Zandvoort. This event, scheduled for August 21-23, marks the fifteenth round of the current Formula 1 season. The race weekend carries added significance as Zandvoort is set to depart the F1 calendar after this year.

Max Verstappen’s special edition race suit features prominent orange accents, a direct tribute to the Netherlands’ national colour and his substantial home support. Isack Hadjar’s overalls, while mirroring the overall design, incorporate distinct white detailing across the side panels.

The design of these special suits integrates a unique graphic pattern. This pattern is inspired by the iconic dunes of Zandvoort and the North Sea coastline, connecting the attire directly to the circuit’s location.

Verstappen, the lead driver for Red Bull Racing and a four-time world champion, previously revealed a special helmet design for his final home Grand Prix. This helmet features Delft blue accents, further honouring the Netherlands.

Isack Hadjar, who partners Verstappen at Red Bull Racing for the 2026 season, was promoted after an impressive rookie year in 2025 with Visa Cash App Racing Bulls. He secured his maiden F1 podium at the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix, sharing the rostrum with Verstappen.

Hadjar’s performance has been noted for its proximity to Verstappen’s pace, with an average qualifying gap of approximately one-tenth of a second. This provides Red Bull with valuable data from both sides of the garage, aiding car development.

The 2026 Dutch Grand Prix is confirmed as the final scheduled Formula 1 race at Zandvoort. This follows a one-year contract extension agreed in late 2024, with the promoter deciding not to remain on the calendar after this season.

The decision to conclude the contract after 2026 was made by the promoter, who cited financial risks and a desire to ‘quit at their peak’. Zandvoort was considered for a rotation of European races but opted for a definitive exit.

Speculation continues regarding whether Red Bull Racing will also introduce a special livery for the RB22 car at Zandvoort. The team has a history of one-off liveries for significant events, such as the Honda tribute at the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix.

Red Bull Racing has faced development and setup challenges with the RB22 this season, currently searching for its first victory through the opening 11 rounds. Verstappen has secured a season-best second-place finish at the Austrian Grand Prix and three additional podiums.

The Dutch Grand Prix weekend will include a sprint race for the first time at Zandvoort. The schedule features Free Practice 1 and Sprint Qualifying on Friday, August 21, followed by the Sprint Race and F1 Qualifying on Saturday, August 22. The main Grand Prix will run on Sunday, August 23.
