Former Sky Sports F1 presenter Rachel Brookes has taken on a new role after her departure from the broadcaster in June. Brookes has joined Motorsport to Business, an agency that provides speakers for corporate events.
The organisation announced that Brookes is now part of its roster of motorsport speakers. She will be available for keynote speaking, fireside conversations, conferences, and other corporate functions.
Motorsport to Business highlighted her extensive experience at the heart of Formula 1. The agency noted her ability to convey the stories, personalities, and pressures of the sport to a global audience.
Her role will involve translating lessons from the F1 paddock into the business world. Key themes include performance, resilience, communication, teamwork, and succeeding under pressure.
Brookes is also the author of the book ‘F1 Racing: Drive: The Secrets to Formula One Success’. The book includes exclusive interviews with figures like Toto Wolff, Lando Norris, and Guenther Steiner, exploring what is required to succeed in motorsport.
She joins other F1 personalities on the agency’s books, including 1996 World Champion Damon Hill, commentator Harry Benjamin, and broadcaster Jennie Gow.
Brookes announced she was leaving Sky Sports near the end of June 2026, just before the Austrian Grand Prix weekend. In a social media post, she stated she was “moving on to exciting new ventures”.
She had been a reporter with Sky since 2009, joining the dedicated F1 team when the broadcaster acquired the rights ahead of the 2012 season. Her departure ended a long tenure covering the sport from the pitlane and paddock.
Since leaving Sky, Brookes has remained involved in the sport. She hosted ‘The Lawn’, a VIP hospitality event for the Aston Martin F1 team during the British Grand Prix weekend at Silverstone.
