Lewis Hamilton has welcomed a new golden retriever puppy named Halo, marking a new addition to the seven-time Formula 1 world champion’s family. The puppy’s arrival comes nearly a year after the passing of Hamilton’s beloved English bulldog, Roscoe, in September 2025.
Halo was recently flown to Los Angeles from Maine by breeder Goldiva Goldens. The breeder confirmed the news via an Instagram post, stating their excitement to send ‘Ms Halo’ to the Ferrari driver.
Kim Kardashian, who has been publicly linked to Hamilton, shared an image on her Instagram featuring herself with the new puppy. This post generated significant attention among fans.
Hamilton’s previous dog, Roscoe, passed away on September 28, 2025, at 12 years old, after battling pneumonia. Hamilton had made the decision to take Roscoe off life support after four days.
Roscoe had been a familiar presence in the Formula 1 paddock during Hamilton’s tenure with Mercedes and had amassed a significant social media following.
The new puppy, Halo, is set to be trained by Kirstin McMillan, who previously worked with both Roscoe and Hamilton’s other late bulldog, Coco.
Hamilton and Kardashian have been frequently seen together throughout the 2026 Formula 1 season. Kardashian attended the Monaco Grand Prix in June, where she offered support for Hamilton.
Following Hamilton’s first Ferrari victory at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix in June, Kardashian was heard on a FaceTime call congratulating him.
Their relationship has been a topic of public discussion since early this year, with sightings at events such as Super Bowl LX in February and the Japanese Grand Prix in March.
Hamilton, now driving for Ferrari, has acknowledged Kardashian publicly, including during a fan Q&A session at the British Grand Prix in July.
